Define the candidate and eligibility workflow
The client should define how potential participants are identified, which program requirements apply, what information can be used, and who approves outreach. Administrative eligibility checks can support the process, but they do not determine clinical appropriateness or guarantee coverage.
Use approved outreach and escalation paths
Non-clinical teams can use client-approved scripts to explain the operational purpose of a program, answer approved administrative questions, document an outcome, and schedule the next step. Questions about treatment, medical advice, orders, consent, or care must return to the provider team.
- Approved audience and script
- Permitted contact channels and attempts
- Outcome documentation
- Clinical and office escalation contacts
Coordinate enrollment and onboarding handoffs
Enrollment may involve information collection, provider review, consent or authorization steps, device or platform coordination, education, and a documented start state. The responsibility matrix should show which party owns each step and what evidence marks it complete.
Report operations without replacing care oversight
Operational reporting can show outreach status, unresolved questions, enrollment progress, onboarding dependencies, and non-clinical engagement activity. Clinical monitoring, interpretation, escalation, care planning, and billing decisions remain within the provider’s approved model and applicable requirements.
This guide describes general operational concepts. It is not legal, coding, billing, clinical, payer, or compliance advice and does not promise a specific outcome.
